We arrived at Xinjiang BBQ around 1 AM and were impressed that they're open until 4 AM. Sitting down for a late night snack was a great experience, especially with the unique Chinese BBQ, Xinjiang style. Their lamb and beef skewers were fantastic, flavorful and well cooked. One minor issue was that the air conditioning was a bit too strong, making us feel like we were actually having Chinese BBQ in the wild, Xinjiang style. It was a little chilly inside, but that didn't detract too much from the overall experience.

been here during and after the pandemic. both were totally different experience. it all started when i was craving for late night skewers and i was driving around sgv area so ended up here. i got there no wait and seated right away. first i was surprised how affordable the food were. the restaurant was kinda quiet but it was because the pandemic. tbh i dont really remember much how it was back then, but i went back recently so im just gonna talk about it. came here on thursday night. join waitlist first before you arrive there might be a list of parties ahead of you. order is super easy, all you need is your phone. i wish they add some kind of reference photo for the food and maybe some combo with variety of meat but thats just my preference. i ordered all their popular items and they were all good. i wanted more but my stomach said no so will definitely be back. so if you are up for late night snacks this place should be up on your navigation. others mentioned that it is kinda loud inside but that could be the case on the weekends. however, i still recommend xinjiang bbq. the vibe is similar to izakaya if thats what youre into.

Came here on an early Wednesday evening, and there was no wait for a table of two. Ordering was pretty easy, they got a QR code to scan to order online and they give you a number code to access the online order. Me and my girlfriend got a couple skewers and the cucumber salad, with half mild spice and half no spice for the skewers. The mild spice had a nice small kick and overall the flavor profile had a smokiness along with the spices. Cucumber salad was refreshing and had a delicious garlic flavor to it. My only complaint was that the lamb and beef kebab took a lot longer than usual compared to the other skewers that came out before them. Service was pretty average as well. Otherwise, it was a good skewer experience.

Xinjiang BBQ is quite an experience. Growing up in the SGV, I feel like I have my fair share of Asian food, but this was definitely a different level. Xinjiang has a pungent aroma of lamb and cumin the moment you step in. The place is filled with projectors and illuminating screens on each table. The music is loud, a mix of American top 40, Mandarin and Cantonese pop. It was interesting to order with our phones and the order is updated real-time among everyone in the table. They are open ridiculously late. I don't usually eat innards so I felt like my options were limited. As with most BBQ places, the options were meat focused. While I don't particularly enjoy the food (my personal palette), I did think it was made well - well flavored and tender. Of the things I tried, I thought the chicken skin really wasn't worth it.

Stopped by and got some skewers. We ordered on our phones and I thought it was fascinating that it was able to sync among the 3 of us so we can each contribute to the order. We got lamb and beef skewers and preferred the lamb. They tasted as good as other skewer places and had the usual seasonings. The ambiance was pretty cool with the changing lights and background. They had an offer for a free polaroid marketed on the table - though it wasn't available. Overall, it was a decent spot for skewers with friends.

I love me some skewers & I can't believe it took me this long to finally review Xinjiang. I loveee how Xinjiang is open so late -- the best place to go to after an event w friends if you have the munchies XD I've only ever dined out or ate Xinjiang to-go but it still sooo good I swear. I've tried other skewer spots and they're good but not as good as Xinjiang. Xinjiang is also super budget friendly -- skewers are so cheap here and what's even better is they're DELICIOSO! I didn't dine in but the interior was super cool w the LED lights & visuals. My friends and I usually order chicken skin, lamb, beef, cucumber salad, and fried tofu. I usually come with 4 people and all of that between us I remember paying less than $10... again SO cheap and so good. I want to try the eggplant next time because I keep hearing from others that it's rly good. The seasoning that Xinjiang puts on their skewers is unreal... so flavorful. So grateful my friends introduced me to this place :') this is one of 626s hidden gems. This is also a nice place to drink at with friends. I'll be back soon :)

We got the beef skewers, lamb skewers, garlic cucumber, and garlic eggplant. Everything was DELICIOUS! The meat on the skewers was well seasoned and tender. I'm usually not a huge lamb fan but I loved their skewers. The garlic cucumber was refreshing and helped our palates reset from the skewers. The garlic cucumber was also a great choice as a side. The interior of the restaurant is really pretty! They have projectors that display images surrounding the walls of the restaurant. I also felt pretty comfortable in the seats which are similar to benches. Service was quick as well; our orders came out within minutes. Definitely coming back!!

Cool ambience where the walls are used as screens for projectors that show nice digital scenery. You order via their QR code and they drop on your table your orders. We loved the cucumber salad, which was very garlicky. Their lamb and beef kebabs were the best with a strong cumin taste. The sausage was just a hotdog with seasoning and didn't care for the pork belly. Parking easy. Seating is strange where the seat can tip forward if you sit on the very front tip of your couch. On the weekday, I didnt hear anyone sing, but there seems to be an option for karaoke.
